The "Bump-it"...more like a "dump-it"

The Bumpit...a tale of sorrow

I got home from a long strenuous day, only to be surprised with my long awaited BUMPIT on my doorstep! I was so happy and excited to try out my newest infomercial purchase.

The first bumpit is a small bang bampit to create the look above.  The bang bumpit is a success.

The regular bumpit, not so much.  Do not let the photo fool you...

I do no have enough hair to properly use the bumpit

This looks nothing like the girl with the beautiful volumonus hair in the infomercial

The next bumpit is called the hollywood bumpit, it is a bigger bumpit than the original and also a bigger disaster.

in this photo you can see all the little plastic teeth on the bumpit, as well as the actual device, but thankfully i recieved the "light blonde" bumpit, and you can barely see it through my thin mane.

It says in the bumpit manual to try it with a headband for a cool twist.  I think it was a bad idea.

this is called the "Double Bumpit" it is when you place the fist bumpit above your ears and the HOLLYWOOD bumpit behind it. I definately do not have enough hair to complete this look.

2. NEVER wear my hair like this. 

NOT FLATTERING

Overall: I am unhappy with the bumpit. But I hope that once my hair grows a little longer, It will look normal, and i will have volumonous beautiful hair styles.

Easter!

This past week I flew down to NC to be with my sexy husband for Easter week, it was such a great week (wow i said week many times in that sentance!) Anyway, I got there Tuesday night after a looooong delay - Wednesday Cameron surprised me and took off from work!!!! We took a trip down to Columbia, SC to go to the Temple there - it was SO beautiful!

The rest of the week was also just as wonderful! Cameron surprised me AGAIN and invited me to his office for lunch and to see his new office and meet some of his co workers!!! We had a yummy lunch and I got to see his amazing office - he has a window and an amazing view, bigtime! We went out for dinners, watched movies, played tennis and basketball and ate a ton!

The week flew by so fast and I miss my sexy lover already - but we had such a great time together and I am soo lucky to have such a great caring thoughtful husband who does such nice things for me!!!

Alices Phonics Fantasy

For the past month I have been rehearsing a new musical called "Alice's Phonics Fantasy" It is a musical focusing on teaching kids to read through African Dance. I landed the role of Alice and was excited to be a part of a show like this, since I have never been much of a dancer, and have never done Childrens shows, this was going to be a big challenge! The 2 week rehearsal process was extremely draining, tiring and frusterating...but this week the show opened and it was a great success.

The first show, Thursday night, was basically a private performance for my family and friends! The audience consisted of Cameron, my mom & dad, Ash, Ty and 2 of my friends. Friday on the other hand was a sold out performance for 800 children from charter schools around NYC. saturdays house was a bit smaller - but still a nice crowd! So far the response has been great, and we are looking to take this show on tour in the fall!

Post Christmas Festivities!

Cameron was here for just over 2 weeks and it was SO great! We all got used to having him here - and now I am sad =-( But I am keeping busy and he will be back in 2 weeks to see my new show!!

While he was here we got to do lots of fun things!!!

At least I think cameron was having fun!!!

We played nerf (tyler got tons of Nerf guns for Christmas so we got to have a big tournament!)

We went to our house in Ocean City for New Years and spent some time in Atlantic City...
