Welcome to Charlotte

For all of y'alls who ain't familiar with Charlotte, come along with us as we take you on a journey to see some of the great sites of Charlotte.
Charlotte is the largest city in the state of North Carolina and the 20th largest city in the United States coming right behind Toole, Utah at number 19. It has a population of approximately 664,732 thanks to the recent move of the Castletons (Cam and Ali)
Charlotte (as well as the county containing it) was named in honor of Queen Charlotte of Mecklenburg, wife of King George III of the United Kingdom. The tallest building in Charlotte is the Bank of America Corporate Center which is designed to look like a crown in her honor. It looks like a building to me.
Charlotte is a great mix of people. Half of the town come from rich banking backgrounds and contain some of the best bankers in the world. The other half think the S&P500 is a Nascar race. Nascar is huge down here. In fact when the guys came and laid our carpet all they talked about was Nascar this and Nascar that. Bank of America is the official sponsor of Nascar so during my orientation they took me to the Nascar track and I got to ride around in the Nascar....car at speeds exceeding two-hunny miles per hour. For all of you who love the NFL as Ali and I do, you will appreciate the Bank of America Stadium where the Carolina Panther's play. Oh, yeah their star player is Steve Smith, who is recognized as one of the NFL's most dominating wide receivers, and he is coming all the way from the best college football team ever....the University of Utah.

Here Alissa is by a statue.
Outside of the stadium you have to watch out for giant pouncing panthers. Alissa! Look out!!!

Here Cameron is fighting over a statue ball with a statue....he lost.

This is the Charlotte Bobcats Arena where the Jazz will beat the bobcats this year.

This is Cameron in front of the Bank of America Plaza where they employ his services. You can also see this building in the above skyline picture right next to the corporate center.

Here it is again...for those who can't get enough of it.

This is the pathway to our condo that we adore. This gazebo is the gazebo that costs 170 a month. It provides great shelter for any three people, two fat people, or one stinky person.
This is Alissa at a photo shoot in front of our sign that indicates that we are at the right location of our residence.

This is Cameron posing in front of a sign with his name on it.
This is Cameron posing in front of a sign that has his name on it three times and also says, "Life is good in Cameron Wood" It also looks like he is taking a dump.
We hope you all loved your trip to Charlotte. Please come again, and next time, let's do lunch.
