Happy Easter!

Apparantly the Easter bunny didn't want to come all the way to North Carolina to find us, so we made our way up to New York for the Easter festivities!

Everyone got a kick out of Cameron dying the eggs - Me, Ashley and Tyler took about 2 minutes per egg, while Cameron made detailed masterpieces which took almost an hour! His eggs were beautiful! Like the Laderer family always says, "we are yet to find something Cameron can't do!" He just proved that blowing and painting eggs is yet another of his many talents!

Me on the other hand....made some pretty ugly eggs, and got my hands dyed for the rest of the weekend!
This is me giving Cameron an Egg of Love that I made him.
Cameron hard at work.
We also had the opportunity to attend Ashleys confirmation. It was quite an interesting experiance. The most interesting part was when the priests went up and down the rows of of the church splashing us with holy water off of fake flowers and branches. It was also the night of the Easter Vigil, which is why we have candles. It was a long Mass - 2 hours. With lots of readings and songs!

Mike, Pat, Ashley, Cam and Alissa with Ashleys Confirmation cake, it was chocolate and yummy.
